What if I told you that what you do today will set you up for a weekend of success?

What if what your daily goals or plans were to set you up for a successful next week?

Weekend Warrior doesn't mean that you have to go run a marathon this weekend or workout for two hours each day.

Being a Weekend Warrior, in my opinion, means planning for an upcoming week of success by being successful this weekend.

So what can you do to become a Weekend Warrior?

If you are going to work out, get it out of the way first. Starting your day with a workout or your cardio or even going for a walk or a swim or etc. will allow you to have more of your free time for the rest of the day to get that yard work or housework done, more time for family or friends, more free time in general, or even more time to get your next week started.

You can become a real Weekend Warrior by planning your meals, your daily schedule, your daily activities, and how you are going to conquer the upcoming week, during separate times on the weekends.

Think about the Saturday or Sunday you are going to sit and watch a movie or sporting event (please come back), play a game with friends or family, or clean the rest of the kitchen or dishes, and you could cook some food and begin your meal prep. Throw the chicken in the oven, put the rice in the rice cooker, cook up some pasta, or grill out and play some ball outside.

Create a plan to get as many tasks done at the same time to become a Weekend Warrior and set your week up for success. This will allow more free time during the week when you are busiest with work, school, kids, appointments, etc. Take advantage of the time you thought you were losing during the week by accomplishing the weekend tasks at the same time.
