One of my favorite people, @salllybeiting shared a fire post the other day and I’ve thought about it since.
Thank you so much for sharing this, you don’t know the impact it had on me and others!
Especially when it comes to my own fitness and health journey.
I had to make the decision.. am I willing to take a rest day? A rest week? A Deload week? Not having a cheat meal? Not dropping my calories too much? Not doing too much cardio? Really focus on better lifts?
As you can see.. there are a lot of questions you might ask yourself and a coach will ask you as well.
We understand that the gym might be your happy place.. it’s ours as well.. however we also know it’s the place we’ve destroyed ourselves over the years.
So if you were to work with someone like me, I will have bunch of questions to start out.. but are you willing to listen and change some habits?
Are you will to change the things that got you here? Are you willing to be okay with a process that isn’t as much fun?
When I found out my cortisol was high, my thyroid was messed up, my testosterone was basically gone, estradiol was screwed up, and more.. I had two choices.
Continue to do what I’m doing and completely destroy my body more and more but be low body fat and look “good” but feel like shit.
Or I could stop being such an idiot with my health and stop doing the things that were destroying me and make me a more functional person and a better person.
These are the questions you need to think about when you really want to make a change. If you are a healthy person, it’s a pretty simple change. However if you have underlying issues and you get it checked out, are you going to change it?
Are you willing to? Are you willing to be okay with the process?
