You woke up and read something and it completely flipped your mind of how your day was going to go.
Something happened on Facebook and now you are worried.
You have changed your mindset and now you expecting the worst instead of preparing for the worst.
You have no hope left for possible positive outcomes.
You are expecting the worst thing ever to happen to you.
You are not savoring how great this day or week can be.
It is the same with your diet or your work or your relationship with family or friends.
If you expect massive results from your diet or you expect your family and friends to always love you and always treat you well.. you are going to be very disappointed.
You can hope the best, that is the main way to go about it.. but you should also be prepared for the worst.
This year should be a huge example of that. You hoped this would be your year... yet this hasn’t been our year at all... well some of us it has been.
Some of us learned more.. started a new business.. got closer to family or friends.. spent more time with their dogs.
You did this because you prepared for the worst... we didn’t expect the worst to be an entire year of this but guess what .. it has!
You have to expect that nothing is going to change without making changes. If your life has been bland for the past year.. you just decided to make it that way.
You have to savor the abilities you’ve had this year. You were able to work at home, you were able to do things around the house you usually couldn’t, you were able to hang with dogs or kids more.
Yes I understand a lot of people are still screwed... especially those in states with lockdowns.. but you have the ability to hope for more and savor what comes to you.
Yes life sucks at times.. but you have to switch your mindset to not expect the worst but just prepare for it. You have to hope for more and savor everything that comes around.
You might not get that job you thought you wanted so bad... so you prepared by applying for another job and landed that second one and now love it more.
I hope you enjoyed this!
