I always hear it that people want to workout to lose weight or be healthier. But you shouldn’t workout just because you can lose weight or train for something or gain muscle or etc. You really should be doing it because that and because what it can do to your brain and mind.
Exercise helps with glycogen levels which in return can help you retain and use more information that you are learning.
It will increase the size of your brain. When you exercise you will release endorphins and help with your serotonin which will allow you brain to stay full which in return increases the space for me memory and learning.
Just 6 months of exercising can increase the size of the prefrontal and medial temporal cortex which both help with memory and cognitive thinking.
Exercise can also improve the chemical balance in your brain. It improves and increase the blood flow to the brain to help grow blood vessels and release growth factors. This will help build and repair new brain cells.
You only need roughly 150 mins of activity a week. That is only 20 mins of activity everyday.
You can do this I promise!
I hope you enjoyed this!
