Get a coach… seriously.
You are just wasting your time by guessing what you thing you should eat, how much you should eat, when you should eat, what type of diet, etc.
Yes you can go online and google what diet is best, you can ask the question on Facebook (and everyone will give you advice 🙄) , you can buy a cookie cutter meal plan online… and yet 6 months be where you started or worse?
Okay so you start a new diet that someone told you to try or where they got their calories from or what website they used.. what happens when you stall out or gain weight?
What happens when you go all out on one weekend or every weekend and gain more weight.. what do you do? Just keep guessing? Cut more? Do more cardio? Just wing it?
How about when you do diet “successfully”, what do you do when you hit the lowest you can… do you jump calories to a certain number? Do you cut out cardio? Do you add in cheat meals? Do you add in refeed days? Etc.
And when it comes to hiring a coach.. don’t just hire any coach or any “coach” you find online. Take time to realize what that coach does, ask a lot of questions, and get an understanding that they will help you better than Brad and Karen.
If I could give real diet advice… focus on protein, eat majority of you carbs around your workout, and have fats in your diet!
I wrote a blog yesterday about the important of protein. Carbs around your workout are the most important if you training hard. This will allow you build the most muscle you are trying (okay way more into that in another blog) and you do need fat! It helps with hormones, do not fear fat. Eat your peanut butter please.
But if you are getting diet advice from random people on Facebook and online.. all I can say is good-luck. You are asking for advice from people who need their own advice usually or who are guessing.
The best diet advice is to get a coach and to get a coach who cares about you and does everything for you.
