This was an amazing post that @Nutrition_dynamic shared a couple days ago.
(Not only is it a great company but also a great follow because the knowledge you can gain and information they put out)
But back to the post.
Eliminating what doesn’t help you evolve can mean a multitude of things. You can eliminate friends, family, a career, food, cardio, workouts, etc. As you can see there are many things you can eliminate from your life to make you a better you.
If you think about it, if you only hang with negative people.. you are going to be a negative person.
If your family is full of Debby downers.. kick them to the curb except when you need them.
Sometimes your friends, family, or coworkers are going to be “woah is me” people... forget that.. move on and find new people. Obviously life sucks for some people but not all. The worst is when people have good things and still want to bring you down.
It can be the same thing with a job. If the job doesn’t mKe you happy or grow you or you aren’t getting anything out of it.. why are you there? Why are you putting your all into it? You don’t care about them, so why would you think they care about you? You and them aren’t trying to evolve each other.
But in my opinion it really comes down to food/nutrition/workouts in regards to my life. You have to eliminate what doesn’t help. You know what doesn’t help? Pizza, alcohol, skipping cardio, skipping them gym, not taking things to help you, etc.
Now I’m not saying you have to eliminate them because they are bad for you.. you need to eliminate them because you haven’t gotten to the point where they help you evolve. Those things are the things keeping you stuck.
It’s the same thing with friends, family, jobs, etc. if you keep those certain things in your life.. how can you evolve? You can’t.. you will always stay the same.
I hope you enjoyed this!
