Embrace the suck (kinda)

Embrace the suck.. but only kind of.. and if you want to.

No I’m not saying give up on everything fun and hate life and become a miserable person when it comes to fitness and nutrition.

I am saying it is going to suck to begging to change because no one likes change.

However a change can be going from drinking a half gallon of water a day to drinking a gallon a day.

It can be from taking 3000 steps a day to taking 6000 steps a day.

It can be from counting calories to now counting macros.

But it can also be going to the gym 3/4 times this week instead of going once or twice.

It can be doing cardio 3/4 days this week instead of doing it 1/2 this week.

Then you move onto a new goal (a new way to embrace the suck).

Let’s try to eat clean everyday this week and if you have a cheat meal, be smart about that cheat meal.

Instead of adding anything and everything , shoot for a cheat meal that will help your goals. Go have a steak and baked potato and some fries, go have a burger with some fries, go have sushi, or go have some delicious Korean BBQ.

Don’t go have that big delicious cheat meal until you feel like you have actually earned that. Embrace the suck of knowing you aren’t there yet, but you will be there.

Embrace the suck of knowing you have to cut alcohol out for a little or knock it down to one day a week of just a few. Beer isn’t really bad for you in that moderation phase, so if you have one or a few keep it on that cheat meal.

I never said it was going to be easy.. I said embrace the suck and it will be worth it.

You know how long it took to get you to this point, now realize it is going to take half as long if not just as long to reach your goal of where you want to be. Be perfect for a day, then three days, then a week, then a month and you will begin a process of understand this suck and balancing it because you embraced it.

This is not a diet... it is a lifestyle change . Competition people like me do not want you to embrace the suck like we have to. 16 weeks will no real fun food, no alcohol, no chance of enjoying a cheat here and there, and no ability to say no to a workout.

We want you to embrace the suck of understanding you need to begin to make small changes to become a healthier you. It can be as simple as more water or more sleep or more nutritional style foods instead of processed.

We aren’t looking to make drastic changes especially if you don’t want to. It’s your life and your body, but if you want they help. We are here to help and will do everything we can to make that happy! This post isn’t for everyone.. however if you are wanting to get healthier/better, this is for you.

I hope you enjoyed
