Fitness myths were you too dumb to believe pt 2

You were too dumb to realize how dumb these myths were..


Why?


Read through and I’ll tell you at the end.


1. I ate “healthy” all week so I can have have a cheat day. (please do not do this.. if you are in a calories deficit and then you eat an excess amount of calories on a Saturday.. it takes you out of the deficit.)


2. Detox and juice cleans are the only way to lose weight. (Your poop is a detox.. fix your gut and you will detox more, it actually releases stress/estrogen do detox)


3. Carbs are the reason you are fat. (Trust me.. they are not.. excess amounts of calories or even under eating is the reason)


4. Eating carbs is bad because of insulin. (Yes if you have problems and/or glucose related issues.. please be cautious.. but if you are healthy.. eat them!)


5. The only way to grow a butt is kickbacks on a stair master.. (not sure how this became a thing... but squats and hip bridges are way better)


6. The weight on the scale is a reflection of you. (160 on someone or even you could look way different than “160” ... take progress pics so I can see yours transformation)


7. You have to go to a gym to make progress. (No start with sleeping more, walking more, eating more, drinking more water, etc)


8. If I just add a few things to my diet it won’t hurt it. (Be careful straying away from the diet.. the more extra calories you add.. the more you wont lose weight.)


9. Fasted cardio is the only way to lose weight. (No.. you can actually lose weight by doing no cardio if you are smart.. eat right.. train hard.. cardio just helps)


10. There is such a thing as good calories vs bad calories. (a calorie is a calorie respectfully... however.. it is not when you say a pop tart that is 300 calories is the same as chicken, rice, and veggies)



You were too dumb to realize how dumb these myths were..because I was as well.


I believed everything I was sold.


I listened to so much bullshit. I bought into so much bullshit. And that is what I want to change! I want to fix things for you.
