The gym is a great way to establish a weight loss routine.


It allows you to have a constant plan , it allows you to understand why you are doing what you are doing, and it allows you to leave feeling accomplished.


However the gym can lead to some negative effects as well.


Those reasons aren’t exactly the main purpose of this post but the main purpose focuses on this benefit the negatives of the gym.


If you sit all day and then go to gym and then come home and sit all night... your metabolism isn’t getting all the benefits it can.


You have to get moving more.


You could eat healthy all day and go to gym and eat healthy at night and still not take 2000 steps... that is insane to think but it’s really not that shocking.


Take a look at your health app or download sweatcoin and realize how many steps you are missing out on.


But just taking the steps aren’t the main benefits you can get for your metabolism.


When you take those steps can be very beneficial as well.


If you are taking them in morning or post workout or post eating. You are putting your body in a parasympathetic state and you are adding your body in digestion which are both super beneficial in your metabolism plus your stress, health, and wellbeing.


I tell my clients to take 7-10000 steps a day. I say this because this is what I want you to strive for because while the gym is awesome... you have to move more. Every 30-60 mins, get up and move for 60 seconds .. I promise you won’t regret it.
