I don’t wanna get bulky or huge..

Trust me.. been doing this for many years now.. you won’t.


Trust me that protein shake is the exact same thing as chicken.. stop thinking it’s more potent to make you a bodybuilder just because it’s a protein shake.


Protein is needed for many things in your body. Yes it will help you build lean muscle but it won’t turn you into Arnold.. trust me..


I was eating 300 grams at one point .. I was gaining like .1lbs a week before I realize I needed to switch the calories to carb based.


Protein is a key thing in regards to health more so than just a thing for building muscle.


The picture I used for this blog shows that and it’s something that people should really focus on because they have a false idea of what protein is doing.


Here some prime examples of why protein is needed for your body.

  1. - provides raw materials for neurotransmitters. This will help improve memory and focus. This is vital for a daily goal of yours and how you can improve your mood and focus.

  2. Keeps blood sugar stable, especially with 20-30 grams at breakfast. This is huge when trying to lose weight. It will help with insulin levels and help keep you full as well.

  3. Again.. send a I’m full signal to the brain. When you consume protein you are consuming good things and good calories and you will be full. Carbs can make you hungrier especially if loaded with sugar.

  4. Supports exercise performance and muscle growth. The protein will help your workouts and your recovery and also it will build the lean muscle which will look better on your body. No it won’t make you bulky!!!!

  5. Stimulates your metabolism. This is huge because you want to improve your metabolism to help lose the weight and show the muscle you are building.

  6. Nourishing your adrenals which is huge. If you are tired or feeling sluggish.. drinking a protein shake or eating a chicken salad or something could improve your energy and get a rise in you.

  7. Necessary for phase 2 of liver detox. This is huge in the body processing major functions.

So as you can see.. protein is huge for your body .. not just for building the muscle.. so be sure to get your protein in! At least .8 of your weight.. it’s not hard trust me!
