I hear it every time I start off with someone new..
The program isn’t working fast enough.
The program isn’t hard enough.
The weight loss isn’t quick enough.
The food is too much.
“I think we should fix the diet”.
The amount of time I explain that two lbs a month is 24 lbs in a year... it’s like their mind is blown.
If I told you that you would be down 25lbs this day next year... you would be so excited.
Yet when you start a program.. you aren’t excited to wait that long.
You want that 25 by next week.
Trust me.. there are ways to lose 25lbs in a very short amount of time...
But I guarantee that you will gain that weight plus more in a shorter amount of time.
You have to be patiently awaiting the real results.
If you lost two lbs a week.. that’s 8 lbs in a month... holy crap that is amazing.
If you lost .5lbs a week... that’s two lbs in a month... holy crap that is amazing.
Yet you are disappointed that it wasn’t two lbs.
You have to be willing to go slow. It’s better for your short term and long term health.
Plus you get to enjoy more food and more fun food for a longer time... why wouldn’t you want that?
