“It’s not a priority”

Most of the time when it gets to 6pm or so or even 6am. When it comes to making your food for the day or getting your run/walk in, or even going to the gym for 30/45 mins. You will say to yourself “I don’t have time”.
What if you changed your mindset to “it’s not a priority”. See how much your mindset changes when you use that saying instead.
It’s not really that you don’t have the time , it’s more that you see other things as a priority.
Yes some things like taking care of a kid or taking them to practice or other things that have to be done will always be the priority over the gym.
However four hours of Netflix, going out to dinner with friends, going out for drinks on a weeknight, or things like these aren’t a priority, there are more of a want.
You could use some of that time to become more prioritized with the gym or cardio or meal prepping.
In past blogs I’ve wrote about how to win the day or the week or a better life. This is a big one. You have to find things to prioritize instead of making it a secondary option.
It doesn’t have to become your life but however until you make a bette lifestyle a priority, it is really hard to do it.
Dean Perrone on Facebook posted this statement and quote and it makes you wonder, what things motivate you? The priority of keeping myself healthy and getting my body safe and increasing my chances of healthier life are why I priories the gym and meals.
Yes I do enjoys the results that come from the gym as well. I look and feel better than I ever have but I also know my life is a better spot because of the priority I put into this.
I realize I want a better longer life and not have to sweat waiting to long. When you wait too long, it is tough to create a new priority. It is not impossible but it will take a little longer to create that priority but it will be worth it.
Begin to make things a priority and not something you just “do” and I promise you will fall in love with it more and your mind and body will thank you more.
