When it comes to the next two weeks.. be okay with no weighing yourself. Be okay with any weight gain that comes. Be okay with the weight on the scale not saying the number you want.
You are going to gain weight in the next week or two. You are going to think about the stress of the holidays. You are going to worry about the New Years and the diet you are going to start.
This is the one time of the year I would tell you... enjoy the weeks and start on Monday. I’m not saying go crazy or anything but just enjoy the time and the food.
You should not be focused on a diet during the holidays.. you should be focused on preparing for the diet you are going to start.
A lot of the weight you will gain during the holidays is much like the weight you will gain after a cheat meal. It’s going to happen.. you can’t gain 5 lbs in one day... I understand what the scale says.
However if you go back to normal the next day.. you will drop most or if not all that weight in that day or two.
Don’t think you have to give up or quit or anything like that. Enjoy the foods in life especially during the holidays. You aren’t training for anything crazy and are going to lose the weight.. it’ll just take one more day.
That one day should mean more to you in the long term because you spent it worth while!
