I hear it all the time especially working with clients who have never really went through a real weight loss program.

“I hit a plateau and I can’t lose anymore weight” ... this just isn’t true.. you can always lose more fat and weight

Well unless you are completely fat free and have no more weight to lose.. which you aren’t going to be at unless you are competing.

If you have hit a plateau.. we need to take a look at everything and see if there is actually a chance we need to make a change in your daily life or if we need to fix the diet.

Diet is the easiest thing to change.. but what if you could keep the same calories and still lose more fat and weight... wouldn’t you want to do that?

When you hit a plateau... you need to take a look at your diet and make sure you aren’t over eating. Make sure you are tracking the calories to what is laid out for you.

Make sure you aren’t eating anything extra or adding anything extra. I understand wanting to add things to the diet especially when it becomes boring or bland... but you are just delaying process.

How much are you eating on the weekend that you shouldn’t be? Is that cheat meal really a cheat meal or a binge meal. If it is a bing meal.. you are delaying your process because you will gain all the weight you probably lose all week.

How much are you actually exercising or how much are you moving when you aren’t exercising? Do you feel like you never take steps during the day? Do you feel like when you leave the gym , you could have done more? These are two things to really focus on! Especially the steps per day. You should be shoot for close to at least 7000 per day.

How is your sleep? Are you staying up looking at Facebook? Or are you waking up early to get more work done before work? You should focus on your sleep, even if it’s minor. You should sleep good, you can do this by allowing yourself to basically sleep before sleep. Meditate and relax and get off your phone before you sleep.

If you feel like you are stalled out.. maybe you need to be more consistent or even take a break. You won’t gain weight or fat in a week.. but you can get your body back into a routine to get back on track.

I hope this helped!
