“so there is no way to retreat”
What are you willing to give up to be able to achieve the goals and aspirations you deserve?
Are you willing to give up that weekly weekend outing for a friend to save money or to better your health?
Are you willing to not eat the same food you’re family or friends are eating when you go out to dinner?
Are you willing to push away the negative people in your life to go after the things or people you deserve in your life?
You are not meant to keep the same daily things or the same people or the same way of life everyday if it is not what you actually want.
You might have to burn the bridges behind you .. so that way you can’t retreat.
Read that again if you didn’t get it.
If you allow yourself to have a backup plan or a retreat plan.. you can always go back to that old way of life and the old friends you had or the family who doesn’t care about you.
Allowing yourself to get rid of those bridges and build new ones will take time.. it will be rough.. it won’t be the easiest thing you’ve done.. but it will be worth it.
You don’t need that bad food.. that bad friend.. that bad family member... that bad job.. that.. etc.
But the bridges that you’ve built in the past and go towards the future with new bridges.
