Stop focusing on monthly goals

I’m not saying you shouldn’t have a monthly goal.
I am saying your monthly goal shouldn’t be the only thing that keeps you going.
What I mean by that is.. don’t say I want to lose 30lbs in 30 days... I’m going to be honest.. you’re going to end up disappointed.
However set a small goal for the month and set a larger more attainable one like the picture from the best IG account to follow (Jordan Syatt) says.
Focus more on going to the gym 80% of the month. That’s 24 days. That could mean 6 days a week, 24 days straight, etc.
The reason a weight loss goal sucks is because you might say you want to lose 5 lbs in a month. Let’s say you lose that in a week? What do you do? You’ve hit your goal already... do you keep going? Do you stop?
Now let’s say you want to lose 15lbs in a month and it’s the last day and you’ve only lost 10lbs.. is that failure? Hell no but in your mind it might be.
Also let’s say you’ve said I’m going to lose 5lbs in a month and you finally hit that in a month.. then you go get drinks and pizza and dessert with friends/family... now you are back to square one. You hit your goal once.. are you going to do it again?
Just be consistent... weight loss sucks as you can tell. Don’t focus on that.. focus on just being consistent.. the weight loss will come.
Trust me I’ve been dieting for months now and I’ve lost like 5 lbs.. it’ll be okay. I look and feel better because I am consistent.
It also allows you to enjoy more food over time. Stop dropping everything and loses weight quickly.. it’ll come back with a vengeance.
I hope this helps and I hope you enjoyed!
