Unless you are prepping for a show.. which means you are literally in prep.. which means 16-20 weeks of perfection...
STOP LETTING ONE THING RUIN YOU!
Actually stop letting many things ruin your process.. trust me one thing or one day will not ruin your progress.
I used to think so.. trust me.. I tried to always be 100%... now I just try and be 85/90% throughout the week unless I’m in prep which I am now.
This picture and post by cheatdaydesign is one of my favorite post I’ve send for people who get discouraged so quickly and I will never understand why but I used to think same so I get it.
Many things you think that you did will ruin your process but actually it won’t and it could actually help you process more potentially.
Some of the things that are mentioned in the picture are:
not hitting your macros... who cares if you go over or under.. get back on track tomorrow for 100%
Taking a break from the gym.. if you are stressed.. your hormones are screwed up.. you think it’s time for a break... take a break for a day or a week.
Overeating by thousand of calories.. y’all you gain weight the next day... and lose it two days later.. enjoy the pizza
Eating a ton of carbs.. you will look like the hulk.. oh no... then deflate like a balloon once you go back to normal
Drinking alcohol or soda.. both aren’t great for you...but who cares.. if you want it.. have it.. just not everyday.
Eating poorly for an entire week.. your body and mind might hate you.. for like a day.. who cares go back to normal after! Just like vacation.
Eating fast food for dinner... you can have McDonald’s and still lose weight.. if you wanna know how.. ask
Having that extra snack before bed.. you might not sleep well or have to poop in middle of night... but enjoy that food.
Ordering a large dessert at dinner.. you know what’s better than a steak and potato meal.. adding dessert to it.. have it and enjoy it.. use the carbs the next day.
As you can see.. you can do a lot and still get back on progress the next day or the next week. Stop thinking that one day or one week is going to ruin you. If you have to pause.. that is better than quitting... stop quitting!!!!! Just pause and go back to it.
