Travel foods when life get backs to normal

I know McDonald’s and any other fast food you pass while driving sounds like an awesome idea.

However I guarantee you will feel like crap after eating that and be more sluggish than you were when you were hungry.


I wanted to share a post from Layne Norton where he shows you some ideas of some snacks you can get at any gas station pretty much and makes travel very easy.


Save the money and food for the places you get (eat local, support local)

Some drink options are the best tasting and best for you protein shakes

  1. - core power high protein milkshakes ... they are delicious

  2. Muscle milk - you can even find the ones that have 48 grams of protein which is amazing!

  3. Rockin refuel - it’s an amazing off brand choice that you can find at select places

  4. Powerade zero - 0 calories and loaded with electrolytes to keep you hydrated and awake.

  5. Diet soda ... get a Diet Coke instead of the monster that is full of sugar.

Top 5 snacks to get that are amazing!!!

  1. - quest bars.. get the cookies and cream one... omg so good.

  2. One bar - one gram of sugar and high protein and wow are they delicious.

  3. Light and fit yogurt. I know it’s tough but if you get this and a quest bar you basically have ice cream and will fill you up!

  4. Beef jerky.. what a delicious snack that is very easy to eat while driving.

  5. Sunny fresh eggs.. this is the toughest one but one of the best because it will wake you up and make you full!

Some other low calorie options that you can combine with these options.

  1. - fruit.. you can usually find fresh fruit at any gas station because it only stays that for one day.

  2. Cheese sticks.. this is another easy snack to grab and go and keep you full because the calories.

  3. P3 portable packs.. this is a great snack to cure your hungry and sweets cravings.

  4. Chicken salad bowl. This is a tough one to eat while driving but something you can eat quickly and keep you full because the fiber. Try to eat with dressing though.


So as you can see there are plenty of options to get. I mean there are healthy options at restaurants too. But these are gas station ideas so you only have to stop once.
