You know you want to succeed with your goals or your weight loss or whatever task you have in your mind.. or so you think.

You think that is what your mind wants but really that is what your heart wants.

Your mind however wants you to only run 100 yards because it hasn’t been convinced it can get to that mile yet.

If you tried to run a marathon right now you mind would give up before your body 100%.

That’s the same with a goal. Whether you want to learn how to play the guitar or lose 10 lbs or finish all of your office work, you can either start by attaining small goals daily or get discouraged when you don’t accomplish that in one day.

You have to convince your mind that the process will be okay. You have to become okay with things take time.

You used to be okay with this and okay with the process of learning or doing. Now you have become so accustomed to getting it right away, when it doesn’t come that way, you want to give up so quickly. Why?

It’s a mindset more so than how you think it should be. Once you start training your mind to be okay with small goals, you will become okay with the process.

Start by writing down daily goals for each day or 3 goals a night that you want to get done tomorrow. But also write down a weekly goal that you want to accomplish and reward yourself when you do.

When it comes to running a marathon or even a half marathon , there is a training plan of how to learn how to do in 8 weeks or 12 weeks or whatever. So why is there not or why do you think it won’t take as long to learn how to play guitar or lose weight or another skill you are wanting to learn?

Stop trying to run a marathon when your mind is only convinced it can go 100 yards. Start forcing your mind to go 200, then 500, and so on.

This is a mindset. It’s the same way with being okay with failure. Some days you want to give it your best and learn more and more. That isn’t going to happen everyday. Be okay with the failure and come back just as motivated tomorrow. One day here and there should not get you away from your goals!

I hope you enjoyed this.
