What if?

This post was shared last night on IG from BretContreras1 (who is a great follow btw) but it’s a very informative post.
Not because of the information that is laid out for you like what I have posted in the past or even they have posted.
But mostly because “what if” things are something you need to think about occasionally.
You don’t need to see “what if” as a negative thing. I know it’s easier to think negative than positive sometimes... I don’t know why you would? But yes some people do.
“What if” can be a very positive thing because it allows you to play around with your body, mind, and internal side.
Some of the what if things they listed are:
what if you’d see results or better results if you lifted 3 times a week instead 5/6/7? How would you know ?
What if you’d see better results by training full body everyday instead of splitting body parts each day?
What if you’d see better results focusing on certain things or basic movements instead constantly changing everything and becoming more variant/difficult?
What if you’d see better results if you focused on your performance and recovery instead random things like a pump, sweating, “calories”, being sore, or feeling a burn?
Now as you can see “what if” isn’t a negative it’s a way to show you that things aren’t the same for everyone.
“What if” can show you that making the progress can be many different things, I want to share some of those things.
what if you got more sleep instead of watching mire Netflix?
What if you drank more water instead of soda or coffee?
What if you started/end your day with a walk or meditation?
What if you focused on 5 small meals instead of three large meals?
What if you began to focus on the inner body as much as the outer? (Why I love Whoop)
As you can see.. I gave you a shit ton of “what if” and none of them are things like “what if I didn’t lose weight or what if I gain weight or what if I do this diet”....? There are too many what ifs that are positive to focus on the negative.
I hope you enjoyed this!
