Dustin story - Everyone has a story, here’s mine. December 2019/January 2020 I stepped on the scale. Unhappy, overweight, and depressed. 278. Two hundred and seventy eight pounds! I knew at the rate I was going I wasn’t going be able to be the father I wanted to be to my son. Something had to change. I started the gym and doing what I thought was eating right, it wasn’t. I wasn’t eating the right amount of the right foods. I started seeing some people start following E’s regime and getting results. Finally after a long going battle of trying to lose weight and failing, getting the jokes about being the “big guy” amongst other things said (even though most were joking), I was tired of it. I decided it was time to buckle down and get healthy. I joined E’s team and began following his plans and tips. As you can see, it’s done wonders. I never played sports that included working out so I never had a background in knowing what to do so getting E’s help was a no brainer. On the left, 278 pounds of unhappy, unhealthy, and out of shape. On the right I have recently weighed in at 212. Ive lost most of the fat, gained A LOT of muscle, but most of all I’ve found happiness in myself and my confidence back. Still not where I want to be, but man am I way further along than I was. Only up from here!
Jon’s story I saw this pop up on my Facebook memories and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get emotional. 4 years ago I didn’t have a lot going for me. Depressed, extremely overweight (which made the back injury even worse), and I just didn’t know where my life was going. I was basically just waiting to die. Then I made the choice to make my happiness a priority. Slowly but surely I made progress. Had some speed bumps along the way. But 4 years later, I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in, got a good job making good money, and actually have a plan for the future. I never thought it was possible. I have so many people to thank but I’ll keep it short. Stephen Holland was a big part getting me started with E Ramey with a fitness and diet plan. And always had an answer for me. If you are trying to change your life DLA Personal Training/Nutrition Services is who you need to get with. Then lastly I’ll thank the guy who keeps me motivated. Taylor Miller you’ve been the brother I never had through everything. I can’t thank you enough. And lastly, make your dreams work for you.
Jon Walsh - I have known E since I began working at Ringling College in June of 2019. He is an excellent and trustworthy colleague and I truly enjoy the interactions we have together working to resolve important student issues. About 3 months ago I started working him in a personal capacity regarding my overall health and fitness. He is currently assisting my wife as well. I am a 57 year old former athlete who like most everyone my age is dealing with common issues surrounding levels of activity and eating habits. My wife and I used to both be much more active, but are slowing down and dealing with body breakdown issues that are not unusual for people in our age group. We are both decent eaters in terms of eating healthy, but were looking for additional tips and tricks to try and take a healthier approach to our current eating habits and supplement use. E has already been beyond helpful to both of us. He spent a great of time just listening to us about what our expectations are and to gather important data that helped him produce realistic exercise and eating plans for both of us. Although we are at the beginning of what we hope will be a significant lifestyle change, we are both very pleased with his input, expertise and extensive research on our behalf. We are both feeling significantly better already and attribute this change directly to his advice and counsel. E is a fantastic listener and his passion for this type of work is very obvious. We plan to continue to work with E to achieve our fitness and nutrition goals and I offer my highest recommendation to anyone looking to work with an expert like E in such a capacity.
