This post hit really close to home. I feel like I read it about twenty times and had a different answer each time.

Sam Miller.. one of the smartest people I’ve talked with and follow shared this post a week or so ago and boy.. this is a big one.

When someone tells you there is something wrong with your car... you go get it checked out.

When your oil is low.. you change it or go get an oil change and fix it.

When your check engine light comes on .. you take it to a mechanic to get it fixed or find out what is wrong.

Unless you know how to fix a tire... change your own oil.. or you can fix your engine problems..

You don’t just go about trying to fix it yourself. You ask for help or you seek help to realize how and what is the best process to fix that issue.

Why is that not the same with your check health light?

When you are having health problems... you choose to just deal with them because you feel like it is not important.

You feel like it is a waste of time and money to help fix and issue that might be very simple to fix.

Why is your check engine light more important than your check health light?

You are essentially saying your machine that cost thousands... Is more important than your body and your health.

Why do you think that is?

Is it because you think one is more important than the other?

Is it because you think one has to look and feel better than the other?

Is it because you feel like fixing the root of the problems is more important for one over the other?

Your health should be something you take time and effort to fix just as much as other things.

The longer you drive with a check engine light on.. the longer you are wearing down that car.

It is the same with your health.

The more stress and pressure and wear and tear that you put on your body.. you are slowly breaking it down more and more...

Eventually putting your health in a state of potential loss and not being to fix quickly or cheap.

Prioritize your health just as much as other things and begin to fix the root cause of the problems without guess work.

Get blood work.

Get a trainer.

Get someone in your corner who will help fix your issues and go together!
